Gene McCaskill
Governor Haley appointed Gene McCaskill to the fill a vacancy on the
Workers’ Compensation Commission resulting from Commissioner David Huffstetler’s resignation.
McCaskill has extensive private and public sector experience having served the previous nine years as senior executive assistant at the Office of the Attorney General and two decades as a grocer in Camden. Prior to his employment with the Attorney General’s Office, McCaskill served as director of admissions for Camden Military Academy, a member of the S.C. Commission on Consumer Affairs and a member of the S.C. Educational Television Commission.
