The SC Business Licensing Officials Association sponsors the Accreditation in Business Licensing and Masters in Business Licensing programs. A board-appointed committee directly monitors the program. The Municipal Association of SC provides administrative support.
ABL designees have completed a three-year training program and have passed a comprehensive examination.
MBL designees have earned their ABL designation in addition to achieving 50 experience points within seven years immediately preceding their application for the MBL designation.
