Municipal officials will have ten opportunities to attend a Regional Advocacy Meeting this fall to share local issues and challenges and to brainstorm legislative solutions. These discussions will assist the legislative committee and the Association's board of directors in setting the legislative priorities for the two-year session beginning in January 2015.
The meetings will be held from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. with lunch included. This year, legislators will join the meetings for lunch and networking.
The locations are organized by council of government region, but officials may attend any session that is convenient. The Association needs you at these meetings to build the new legislative priorities
, interact with legislators from your community and commit as an advocate for cities and towns.
