The Stimulus 101 Summit took place at the Columbia Convention Center on April 17, 2009, to share information about funding available through American Recovery and Reinvestment Act. More than 500 local government business and community leaders in communities of all sizes around the state got a better understanding of the type of funding available and the process for accessing the funds.

The day-long meeting featured representatives from a variety of federal and state agencies tasked with dispensing the funds. Participants got a broad overview of funding sources, timelines and project criteria to better understand how to navigate the opportunities for funding and regional collaboration within the ARRA.
