Biography
Mary Catherine Lawton joined the Association in
2023. She previously worked for the City of Hartsville for five years and most
recently for the City of Aiken for five years. She has worked in many different
roles including assistant city manager, capital projects manager and city
planner. Mary Catherine has a bachelor's degree in public policy from the
Georgia Institute of Technology and a Master of Public Administration from the
University of South Carolina.
