These resources can assist with understanding the differing roles and responsibilities of elected officials and staff in each form of government.
Online training
Elected officials can learn about the roles and responsibilities of councilmembers, the mayor and manager/administrator in each of the forms by taking the Forms of Government training through the Municipal Elected Officials Institute of Government.
