Certified Municipal Clerk
The International Institute for Municipal Clerks awards the CMC designation to individuals who spend at least 50 percent of their time on clerk-related duties.
Requirements
- Sixty education points (graduating from MCTI and completing the capstone project satisfies the 60 education point requirement)
- Fifty experience points
- IIMC member for two years
Certified Public Finance Administrator
The Association of Public Treasurers of the United States and Canada awards the CPFA credential to individuals who spend a majority of their time on finance, treasury, investments or debt activities.
Requirements
- Combined total of 100 points required in both the educational and experience categories (Graduating from MCTI can satisfy up to 30 educational points)
- APT member for two years
