Connecting Generations

The topic of managing generational differences is getting lots of attention these days.
Where there were once three generations in the workforce, there are now five working side by side. Staying connected is also very different today than it was just 10 years ago as evolving technology has impacted each generation’s experience of learning, working and interacting.

This multigenerational environment presents challenges for all organizations, including cities and towns. The 2016 Annual Meeting will focus on how city leaders can meet the generational demands of staff, residents and visitors.

Annual Meeting sessions will also address issues related to economic development, public safety, communications and governance.
