Position hours: Full-time position, 8:30 a.m. – 5 p.m., Monday through Friday
- Oversees the daily operations of the town; works collaboratively with department heads to implement policies set forth by town council; provides leadership in the development of short- and long-range plans; implements all board of council policy decisions; and provides staff in all departments with the clear and efficient operating procedures necessary to carry out board policy mandates
- Drafts and presents the annual budget to members of the council; advises the governing body of financial conditions, concerns and future needs; administers the yearly operating budget and capital improvement budgets; submits reports to the board on the status of the town's budget; and serves as the approval agent for town purchases
- Acts as personnel director; hires with board of council approval; evaluates and directs the staff; monitors the budget and all financial affairs of the town; and works closely with council, budget personnel, and department heads to develop a comprehensive budget and work program
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and at least 10 years of increasingly responsible professional experience in a municipal administrative role with a minimum of eight years of management experience
