Job duties:

  • Provides legal advice to the council, manager, employees, city commission, boards and committees on procedural and substantive legal issues
  • Advises of the possible legal ramifications of proposed courses of action and on matters directly affecting the conduct of city business
  • Drafts and reviews a host of legal documents necessary for the daily operation of the city, including contracts, leases, deeds, resolutions, ordinance, bonds, insurance and many others

Qualifications: Must have a law degree and be a member of the South Carolina Bar
